Supreme warm up for Nordic Tournament
A fantastic night in Lahti, with a big cheering crowd and perfect conditions. The Norwegian team won the team competition ahead of the Finnish team.

Primoz Peterka from SLO, Janne Ahonen FIN and Adam Malyz POL. was the best jumpers in the qualification for the 130 today.

Kranjeck and Ahonen best in the second trial round.
Kranjeck and Ahonen was best in the second trialround. 129 meters for Kranjeck and 126 meters for Ahonen, with two beams lower speed.

Hautamaeki and Romøren best in the first trialround
Matti Hautamaeki was long in the first Trial Round today. He jumped 129,5 meters, and the Norwegian Romøren was 0,5 meters longer but he had 2 beams higher speed.

Today it all starts
The qualification for the competition tomorrow starts today. At first it is two rounds with training, then it is the qualification round in the HS 130. The conditions is for the moment exellent here in Lahti, and we are looking forward to start todays jumping.

Lahti Ski Games is now organized for the 80th time. This international ski festival has been a big part of the 100-year-old city of Lahti from the early 1920’s. Nowadays Lahti is very well-known around the world not only as a sports city but also as an event organizer.

Janne Ahonen the artist and the jumper
Janne Ahonen, 27, who won the world cup overall last season is one of the leading ski jumpers in the world. He is also a talented artist. Now his drawings may be admired outside Finland as well. Ahonen has drawn the new logotype for the Nordic Tournament, a ski jumping series for the Nordic countries, which will be organised in Finland (Lahti and Kupio) and Norway (Lillehammer and Oslo) next season.
